그러나 과연 우리의 삶과 노동을 떼어놓을 수 있을까요? 우리가 '노동자'가 아니라면 무엇일까요?
우리는 대부분 노동자였으며, 앞으로도 노동자일 것입니다. 노동 환경과 노동자의 삶은 타인의 이야기가 아닌 우리의 이야기입니다.
그러나 동시에, 우리 주변에는 가지각색의 노동의 모습이 자리잡고 있습니다. 정규직과 비정규직, 사무직과 현장직, 원청 직원과 하청 직원 등, 다양한 노동의 일면 속에서 노동 환경은 또 다르게 나타납니다. 그리고 각기 다른 노동환경 속에서, 때로 산업재해와 같은 재난이 들이닥치기도 합니다. 우리나라의 노동환경을 알아보고, 더 깊이 들어가 산업재해와 그 대책 등에 대해서도 함께 살펴봅시다.

The word “labor” can sometimes feel like something distant from our own lives.
But can we really separate our lives from labor? If we are not “workers,” then what are we?
Most of us have been workers, and most of us will continue to be workers. Working conditions and the lives of workers are not someone else’s story, but our own.
At the same time, many different forms of labor exist all around us. Permanent and non-permanent positions, office work and field work, those employed by the main contractor and those by subcontractors—across these various facets of labor, working conditions also manifest in different ways. And within these different working environments, disasters such as industrial accidents sometimes strike. Let’s take a look at the state of labor conditions in South Korea and then look more closely at industrial accidents and what measures exist to address them.
