The 7th Right Light Festival talk Concert Application: October 15, 2025
Greetings. This is Ewha 57th General Student Council Step Up/ Rights Light Festival Central Organizing Committee.
On October 15, a talk concert will be held under the theme: ”Care Right: Concepts that encompass all rights to care and caregiving.“
The form of care must also evolve in response to changing societal conditions. However, South Korea continues to face challenges in addressing this issue, often by shifting the burden of excessive caregiving onto women. During the lecture, we will examine the newly emerging discourse of ”care rights“ within a highly developed modern society. The subsequent ”Duldulkak Talk Concert“ will offer a forum for participants to share their perspectives based on the lecture’s content.
Talk Concert: The Right to Self-Care and to Change the World Part 1: Lecture by Professor Baek Kyung-hoon, Instructor in the Department of Women‘s Studies at Ewha Womans University. Part 2: Inter-Participant Discussion.
📍Date and Time: October 15, 2025 (Tuesday), 17:30 to 19:30 (120 minutes) 📍Location: Student Culture Center / Small Theater 📍Number of Participants: 30, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
